Welcome to my party. I live in suburban Detroit with my husband of 20+ years and our African Gray parrot. I started this blog more as a place to document my various food experiments than as any sort of reference for third parties.

There’s likely to be a little bit of a lot of things: baking, cooking, canning, fermentation, gardening, knitting, and maybe even a little discussion thrown in. I’m not an expert on anything, but I try to learn at least a little bit about things I can use to make our home a little homier and a lot tastier.
